Final concert took place at The Small Hall of Saint-Petersburg Philharmonia.
Participants of masterclass were conductors from France, USA, Japan, S.Korea and Russia.

Gold collection of Vienna classical music
The Lutheran Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul
German violinist Aram Badalian and Maestro Arman Tigranian performed compositions of great representatives of Vienna school Golden era: Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Mozart.
Aram Badalian is laureate of many international competitions. He appears regularly at many European music festivals including: Goppisberger Musikwochen in Wallis, Switzerland, Weingartner Musiktage, Germany. He collaborated with renowned musicians including Albrecht Breuninger, Valery Oistrakh, Sergey Khachatryan.

August 2016
From 2 to 8 August 2016 the Youth Symphony orchestra toured to Alicante (Spain) where after the preliminary selection it received an opportunity to participate in a very prestigious festival of youth orchestras. In its frames the orchestra gave 4 concerts performing 7th symphony and Fidelio Overture by Beethoven, Serenade for string orchestra by Tchaikovsky, Concert for double base and the orchestra by Koussevitzky and many others.

The New Year’s Strauss Gala Concerts
It has long been a european tradition at the New Year to present a program consisting of the nostalgic and lively music from the repertoire of the family of Johann Strauss. The Youth Symphony orchestra led series of Strauss Gala concerts in glorious concert halls of St.Petersburg: The Alexandrinsky Theatre, Sheremetev Palace, Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace, Concert Hall of Contemporary Art Museum “Erarta”, etc.

Benefit concert for military veterans

On May 6 the “Charity City St.Petersburg” Foundation and The Youth Symphony orchestra led the concert dedicated to veterans of the Second World War. About 1500 Veterans of Labour and the War visited this concert.
